Configure Zoho as your email provider

Ready to connect your Zoho email to lemlist? Follow these simple steps to enable IMAP and SMTP and start sending campaigns seamlessly.

Updated this week

TL;DR:

Connect your Zoho Mail account to lemlist using IMAP/SMTP settings. Enable IMAP in Zoho, use an app-specific password if you have 2FA, and enter server details in lemlist. Takes about 5 minutes.

Who Should Use This

  • Users with Zoho Mail or Zoho Workplace accounts

  • Teams using custom domains hosted on Zoho

  • Anyone connecting Zoho as their sending email provider

Why This Matters

Connecting Zoho lets you send campaigns from your email address, track replies automatically, and maintain your domain reputation. Without this connection, campaigns can't launch.

Before You Start

Gather these details:

βœ… Zoho email address (e.g., [email protected])

βœ… Zoho password (or app-specific password if using 2FA)

πŸ’‘ If you have Two-Factor Authentication enabled: Generate an Application-Specific Password in Zoho Account Security Settings instead of using your regular password.

Step-by-Step: Connect Zoho

Step 1: Enable IMAP in Zoho Mail

  1. Log in to Zoho Mail

  2. Go to Settings (βš™οΈ) β†’ Mail Accounts β†’ Configure IMAP

  3. Check the box for IMAP Access

  4. (Optional) Adjust Auto-Expunge and Folder View settings

  5. Click Save

Step 2: Get your IMAP and SMTP settings

SMTP Settings (Outgoing mail):

  • Server: smtp.zoho.com

  • Port: 465

  • SSL: Enabled

IMAP Settings (Incoming mail):

  • Server: imappro.zoho.com (Zoho Workplace/custom domains) OR imap.zoho.com (personal accounts like [email protected])

  • Port: 993

  • SSL: Enabled

πŸ’‘ Which IMAP server? Use imappro.zoho.com for Zoho Workplace. Use imap.zoho.com for personal Zoho accounts.
