Heeeeey lemlister! 👋

If you own or work for an agency that's trying to:

  • Use lemlist to send outreach campaigns for several clients in a seamless way

  • Give report-only access to your clients without other permissions in your account

... this article will show you how to do it.

We're proud to introduce our brand new Agency feature. 🏢

Let me show you how it works.

Go to Settings > Team and choose an option to "Add a teammate". Here, you have a choice. Add a User or an Extern. What's the difference?

  • User - This is a colleague from your team who can manage and send campaigns, enable/disable lemwarm, do reporting, etc.

  • Extern - This person has report-only access to your account. It's ideal if you aim to give your client access to reports, but no other data. Since they need to connect their email, you can still use their email address to create, manage, and send cold email campaigns on their behalf.

Another cool thing you can do when inviting an Extern is to allow them to have a passwordless login. Meaning, they'll be able to connect to lemlist with their email only to access campaigns' reports, make their lives simpler.

To get this done, just tick the box "Allow passwordless login" below the form.

If you don't allow passwordless login, this user can only connect their email provider, but they won't be able to log in to lemlist at all.

This can be useful if you're an agency or an individual running outreach campaigns for clients and want to use their email as the Sender email, but stop them from accessing your account.

Once invited, they will receive this email:

They can proceed from thereby connecting their email address.

How to organize your agency account in lemlist?

The best way to organize your account so that a client of yours has access only to their respective campaigns and not from your other clients is to set it like this:

1 client = 1 team

To give you an example, say your agency has two clients, Apple and Google. You'd need to create two teams to keep campaigns and reports separated.

After that, you are all set and ready to crack on. 🌟
