TL;DR
If lemAgent stopped just now, wait 2–3 minutes and try again — a per-minute rate limit clears automatically. If it still won’t respond after waiting, your workspace has hit the daily conversation limit. Wait until the next day; the limit resets automatically at midnight.
Symptoms
lemAgent stops mid-conversation and does not continue after a prompt.
A new conversation starts but lemAgent does not respond to the first message.
lemAgent responds with a message indicating the limit has been reached.
Other teammates in the workspace also report lemAgent not responding.
Typing a prompt produces no thinking activity or response.
Environment
Applies to Email, Multichannel, and Enterprise plans.
Daily limits are workspace-level — shared across all users. One person’s usage draws from the same pool as everyone else’s.
Free trial accounts: lemAgent runs in demo mode only. Real conversations are not available regardless of usage.
Fix 1: Rate limit — wait and retry
Stop sending prompts.
Wait 2–3 minutes.
Return to the lemAgent conversation and send your prompt again.
✅ Verify: lemAgent responds and resumes the conversation normally.
Fix 2: Daily limit — wait for reset
Daily limits reset automatically at midnight. Confirm it’s a workspace-wide issue first:
Check with your team — ask if others are also getting no response. This confirms it’s a workspace-level limit, not a local issue.
If confirmed, wait until the next day. The daily limit resets automatically.
Open lemAgent the following day and send a test prompt to confirm the limit has cleared.
✅ Verify: lemAgent responds to a new prompt without a limit message.
Fix 3: Free trial — upgrade your plan
Go to Settings → Plans & Billing.
Upgrade to an Email, Multichannel, or Enterprise plan.
Return to lemAgent and start a new conversation.
✅ Verify: lemAgent responds to real prompts after upgrading.
Confirm it’s fixed
✓ lemAgent responds to a new prompt without showing a limit message.
✓ The conversation continues to the next step as expected.
✓ Teammates in the workspace can also use lemAgent again.
Why it happens
lemAgent usage is metered per conversation and shared across the workspace. When the daily pool runs out — from one person or collectively — no one can start or continue conversations until midnight.
Per-minute limits are a separate safeguard that activates after rapid, consecutive prompts. They clear on their own within minutes.
Prevent this by keeping prompts specific and goal-focused. Broad exploratory sessions use more credits than targeted ones.
Escalate if unresolved
If lemAgent still won’t respond after the daily limit should have reset, contact support with: workspace name, approximate time the issue started, rough number of conversations used that day, and the exact message lemAgent displayed.
