Leave a team in lemlist

How to leave or switch to another team on lemlist.

TL;DR

Leave a team by opening the menu in the bottom-left corner, going to Settings, opening the Users tab for the relevant team, selecting your user, and clicking Delete. If you need to leave a different team, switch to it first using the team selector. You can't leave if you're the only member. Takes 1 minute.

Who Should Use This

  • Team members who joined the wrong team

  • Users belonging to multiple teams who want to consolidate

  • Contractors or freelancers ending a client engagement

Why This Matters

Leaving unnecessary teams keeps your workspace organized and prevents confusion when switching between accounts. If you're in multiple teams, you might accidentally work in the wrong workspace or see campaigns that don't belong to you.

Understanding how to leave teams also helps when transitioning between trial and paid accounts, or when ending temporary access to client workspaces.

How to Leave a Team

  1. Click your name in the bottom-left corner, then select Settings

Open the profile menu and select Settings
  2. Open the Users tab for the team, select your user, and click Delete

Open the Users tab, select your user, and click Delete
  3. Click Confirm to remove yourself from the team

Confirm removing yourself from the team

Important: You cannot leave a team if you're the only member. You must either invite another user first or contact support to delete the team entirely.

How to Switch Between Teams

If you belong to multiple teams, you can switch between them before leaving one:

  1. Click your name in the bottom-left corner, open the team selector, then choose the team you want to switch to

Open the team selector and choose a different team
  2. After switching teams, repeat the steps above to open Settings, go to the Users tab, and remove yourself from that team.

lemlist immediately loads the selected team's workspace, campaigns, and leads.
