Well hello there, it's been a while π
Making data transiting in between lemlist is Hubspot is proving to be tricky for you?
Don't worry, I've got your back!
Here's a few scenarios that can happen to you and explanations on how to troubleshoot them.
In case of Full funnel (from lemlist to Hubspot with the option to create leads in CRM activated).
π I'm importing my leads from Linkedin/Sales Navigator through the chrome extension:
In that case, the fields scrapped from Linkedin are known to us, so those fields should be automatically created in Hubspot.
If you cannot find them, make sure that you have added them to your contact list.
Here's how to do:
1 - Go to your Hubpost Contact lists and click on the list concerned:
2 - Click on Actions and select Edit Columns:
3 - In the sub-window that will open, you'll find a search bar, click in it an enter the keyword lemlist:
All the fields created by lemlist will be displayed here.
You just have to select the ones you want to add to your list to be able to see them reflected as columns in that list.
You can also select the option to add them to all of your contact lists if you need and finally save your selection. π
π I'm importing my leads from another source (CSV, manually, by API, ...)
In that case, the fields you're importing at not known to us.
We don't know what they are so you must create those fields on Hubspot side as well in order for us to be able to map the data and push it inside Hubspot and prefix them with the word lemlist.
π‘ Let me give you a quick example:
1 - I want to import a CSV with a column (field) named DataSource.
2 - If I want this fields to be mapped and populated with data in Hubspot I need first to create a custom field in Hubspot and prefix it with the word lemlist.
So the fields in Hubspot should be named lemlistDataSource
The field needs to be created in the Contact section as below:
Once that is done, the data imported in lemlist will be able to be mapped in your custom fields in Hubspot. π₯³
In case I import my leads directly from Hubspot
By default, these are the variables that lemlist will pull from Hubspot:
First name
Company name
Last name
Email
Phone number
Mobile phone number
Country/Region
State/Region
City
Job title
Salutation
Gender
Website URL
Any other custom variables created by user can all be imported as long as they are in the contact section.
π For the linkedinUrl variable it is mandatory to create it and name it exactly like this linkedinUrl in order for lemlist to map it and pull the info, else it won't work.
How should I create my custom variable in Hubspot you'll ask?
Here's how:
You can create your custom variable "My_awesome_variable" in Hubspot and the variable will appear in lemlist.ο»Ώ
Then you can choose the single row or multiple-row option:
Make sure you don't exceed 400 characters in a multiple-line field.
At the end, click on "create" at the bottom of the page.
Then you can use this new custom variable on your leads.
That's it you should be prepared for all eventualities there!
