Share your campaign link

Interested in sharing your campaign with someone outside your lemlist team? Say no more!

Updated over a week ago

By the end of this tutorial, you’ll know how to generate a public, view-only link to a campaign’s sequence steps and content, copy it, and share it safely.

Why this matters

Sharing a campaign publicly is the fastest way to show teammates, clients, or partners your sequence structure and copy without giving them access to your lemlist workspace. It’s ideal for reviews, approvals, and inspiration—while keeping the shared version in view-only mode.

Prerequisites

  • You must be an admin in the workspace to share a campaign publicly.

  • Anyone with the link can view the sequence in their browser (view-only mode).

Core lesson: Step-by-step workflow

Phase 1: Generate the public link

Option 1: Share from the Campaigns list

  1. Go to Campaigns and locate the campaign you want to share (for example, Follow up - US Leads).

  1. On the campaign row, click the three dots on the far right, then select Share campaign publicly.

Option 2: Share from the Campaign editor

  1. Open the campaign, then click the three dots at the top (next to the settings icon).

Phase 2: Confirm and copy

  1. Review the warning, then click Confirm. The public link is automatically copied to your clipboard, ready to paste anywhere.

In both options, the public link is copied to your clipboard once you confirm.

Practical application (real-life example)

If you’re requesting feedback on a sequence, share the public link in Slack or email and ask reviewers to focus on:

  • Step order and timing

  • Message clarity and personalization placeholders

  • Consistency of tone across steps

Troubleshooting & pitfalls

Issue: I don’t see “Share campaign publicly”

  • Root cause: You’re not an admin, or your role doesn’t have permission.

  • Fix: Ask a workspace admin to share the campaign publicly (or update your role permissions).

Issue: I shared the link, but the recipient can’t edit anything

  • Root cause: This is expected—the shared page is view-only.

  • Fix: If they need a working copy, ask them to duplicate the campaign from the campaign editor.

Issue: I updated the sequence—does the link still show the old version?

  • Root cause: None—public links reflect updates automatically.

  • Fix: Refresh the shared page to see the latest sequence and content.

Knowledge check (quick self-quiz)

  • Can you explain the difference between sharing a campaign publicly and giving someone workspace access?

  • Do you know the two places you can generate the public link (Campaigns list vs. Campaign editor)?

  • Did you confirm you’re comfortable with anyone who has the link viewing the sequence content?

What people can do with the shared link

View the shared campaign

The link allows anyone to view the sequence steps and content in their browser (view-only mode).

Duplicate the shared campaign

Anyone with the link can duplicate the campaign from the campaign editor.
