Once your team is placing calls regularly, the Reports section is where you see the patterns: how much your team is calling, which outcomes they get, who spends the most time in conversations, and when leads are most likely to pick up. This article walks through each call widget and what it is useful for. If you need raw rows rather than charts, export your calls instead.
Prerequisites
You have access to the Reports section in your workspace.
Your team has already placed calls through lemlist — the widgets are empty until there is call activity in the selected period.
Core lesson
Phase 1: Add the call widgets
Open the call reporting widgets.
Go to Reports and open the call reporting widgets. If they are not there yet, add them from the widget library, where all the available call reporting options sit in one place.
Phase 2: Read the activity widgets
Call activity volume — track output over time.
Shows how many calls were made during the selected period, which tells you whether the team is calling consistently.
Call performance by rep — compare users.
Use it to benchmark reps, spot top performers, and coach based on outcome trends per team member.
Total Call Duration — measure call time.
Shows how much total time was spent on calls, which is a better measure of effort than call count alone.
Call Duration by rep — compare time spent across users.
Breaks call time down per rep, so you can see who is holding the longest conversations.
Phase 3: Read the timing and outcome widgets
Best Time to Call — optimize outreach timing.
A heatmap that shows when calls perform best, based on day and time patterns.
Call Activity Analysis — a detailed outcomes table.
Gives a status-by-period breakdown, so you can follow trends in outcomes such as No answer, Left voicemail, and the connected statuses.
Call funnel per lead — review outcomes at the lead level.
Lets you inspect individual leads, their latest call status, call duration, and the associated campaign, which is where you go when a trend in the other widgets needs explaining.
Tip: Review these weekly rather than at month end. It is much easier to spot a drop in answer rates, coach a rep, or adjust call timing while the period is still running.
Troubleshooting and pitfalls
Issue: The numbers don't match what I expected.
Root cause: Filters or the selected date range are limiting the data shown.
Fix:
Open Reports.
Check the selected date range and any active filters.
Adjust them so you are comparing the right team members, statuses, campaigns, or companies.
Issue: A widget is empty.
Root cause: There is no call activity in the selected period, or the widget has not been added to your report.
Fix:
Widen the date range.
Confirm the widget is present by checking the widget library.
If your case is different
If you need raw rows rather than charts — for a spreadsheet, a BI tool, or an LLM — see Export your calls with transcripts for analysis.
If you want to review one specific conversation, open that call from the Calls section instead.
If you are tracking minute consumption rather than performance, see In-app calling: destination tiers and minute pricing.
