Prerequisites

Before adding a GIF:

  • You're editing an email step in your campaign sequence

  • Your GIF is ready and saved on your computer

  • Your file is in.gifformat


How to Upload a GIF from Your Computer

Step 1: Open your email step

In your campaign sequence, open the Email step where you want to add the GIF.

Step 2: Insert the GIF

At the bottom of the message editor, click + Add, select Insert Image, then upload your GIF by dragging it into the upload area or clicking the box to browse your computer.

Step 3: Confirm the GIF appears in your message

Once uploaded, the GIF will appear directly inside the email body.

Troubleshooting

Issue: GIF doesn't animate

Fix: Some email clients, such as certain versions of Outlook, may not support animated GIFs. Make sure the first frame is meaningful on its own.

Issue: GIF doesn't upload

Fix: Make sure the file is saved as a .gif and try uploading it again.

Issue: GIF looks too large in the email

Fix: Resize the GIF on your computer before uploading it, then reinsert it into the email.
