TL;DR: Use lemwarm to choose a plan, connect an email address from Sending settings, configure warm-up from the Warm up tab, and monitor results from your dashboard reports. Setup usually takes about 5–10 minutes.

Anyone who wants to connect an email account and start warming it safely
If you already have a warmed-up inbox running, you can skip this guide and go straight to monitoring your reports
Why this matters
A proper warm-up helps your email account build and maintain a stronger sending reputation. That makes it more likely your future emails land in the inbox instead of spam, and gives you a safer ramp-up path before launching outreach campaigns.
Important: The optimal warm-up period is about one month. During the first weeks, avoid sending large outreach volumes. If you need to send emails while warming up, keep volumes low and increase gradually.
Step-by-step guide
1. Open your lemwarm dashboard.
When you land on the dashboard, you’ll see the setup boxes that guide you through verification, plan selection, email connection, and launch. Click Choose a plan to continue.
2. Choose a lemwarm plan.
If needed, you can also open billing from your workspace and click Upgrade plan.
Then select the plan that fits your needs. The available plans are Essential and Smart.
3. Connect the email address you want to warm up.
Click your profile in the bottom-left corner, open Settings, go to Sending settings, expand the Email section if needed, then click Connect email address. This is where you add the mailbox that lemwarm will warm up.
In Sending settings, use Connect email address to add the mailbox you want to warm up.
4. Start or manage warm-up from the Warm up tab.
Open the Warm up tab from the left sidebar, find your connected mailbox, then review or adjust the Warm-up and Ramp-up increment values before clicking Start or Stop.
5. Set warm-up values based on your target sending volume.
To optimize your email deliverability, first determine your target daily volume in lemlist—for example, 20, 30, or 40 emails per day. That target volume should be the Warm-up value you set in lemwarm.
Next, set the Ramp-up increment to reflect your typical daily email outflow. In most cases, the recommended starting point is 1 email per day.
So, a recommended setup looks like this:
Warm Up: 40
Ramp Up Increment: 1
Example: if your target volume in lemlist is 40 emails per day, set Warm-up to 40 in lemwarm and keep the Ramp-up increment at 1 so the volume increases gradually.
Good to know: lemwarm can set these values automatically based on your deliverability score. Manual settings are useful if you want tighter control over ramp-up.
6. Track deliverability from the dashboard.
Once warm-up is running, go back to the dashboard to monitor your Deliverability score. This score helps you understand whether your mailbox is becoming safer to use for outreach.
You can also review the detailed chart to see where your cold emails are landing over time, including inbox and spam placement trends.

Issue: Warm-up numbers feel too aggressive.
Root cause: Manual settings may be too high for your intended sending volume.
Fix:
Open the Warm up tab
Set the Warm-up value to match your target daily volume in lemlist
Reduce the Ramp-up increment to 1 to slow the increase
