Easily organize, track, and manage company-level outreach to power your account-based sales strategy.

The Companies section in lemlist is your go-to hub for managing accounts in an account-based prospection strategy. Located in the left sidebar, it works hand-in-hand with your Contacts section, giving you full visibility on all interactions your team has had with a company.

Just like Contacts, you can filter, sort, and manage companies to simplify your sales workflow and focus on what matters—building relationships and closing deals.


🔍 How Companies Work

Each company profile shows:

  • Company details

  • All associated contacts

  • A timeline of every activity from your team (emails, calls, LinkedIn steps, etc.)

Everything you need to know about a company is here—no need to jump between tabs!


🧪 Filters Available

Quickly narrow down your company list with filters like:

  • Company name

  • Company domain

  • Industry

  • Linkedin

  • Location

  • Custom fields (like region, status, etc.)

  • Owner (who’s handling this account internally)


🚀 Activity Timeline

The Activity Timeline inside each company panel has been designed to help you work fast and efficiently. Here's how to make the most of it:

Get a quick overview

The timeline has a clean, super structured layout, making it easy to scan through past activities like emails, calls, and LinkedIn touches.

Expand or collapse activity cards

Click on any activity to open or hide details. This keeps your view focused and lets you dive deeper only when needed.

🔊 Interact directly from the timeline

No need to switch tabs. You can:

  • Listen to call recordings directly in the activity card

  • Reply to emails without leaving the page

  • See LinkedIn steps or other actions in context

  • Check who on your team performed each action

With fewer clicks and more context, you’ll save time and always know the next best step.


How to import my companies?

From the Companies section click on the Import button:

There are currently two easy ways to import companies into the platform:

  1. Search the People Database
    Simply use the search bar to look up companies by name. Once found, you can add them directly to your account with a single click.

  2. Upload a CSV File
    For bulk imports, you can upload a CSV file containing your company data. Make sure your file includes relevant fields such as company name, company domain, industry, and any other key attributes. Once uploaded, the system will guide you through mapping the columns and completing the import process.
