How to use the lemlist Chrome extension (lemlist everywhere)

Engage, enrich, and manage leads from LinkedIn, Gmail, Hubspot, or Salesforce — without switching tabs

Updated this week

Hiii lemlister! 😊

The lemlist Chrome extension, also called lemlist everywhere, lets you bring your outreach tools right where you already work — on LinkedIn, Gmail, Hubspot, Salesforce, and even directly inside email threads.

Instead of jumping back and forth between tabs or CRMs, you can take action directly from the page you’re on. That includes enrolling leads in campaigns, enriching contacts with verified data, calling them, and using AI to craft personalized messages. All without leaving your workflow.

What you can do with the lemlist Chrome extension

Once installed, the extension lets you:

  • Add or enroll leads into lemlist campaigns (individually or in bulk)

  • Enrich contacts with verified email addresses, phone numbers, and LinkedIn profiles

  • Use AI to help write or personalize your messages

  • Call leads via the lemlist dialer

  • Remove or pause leads in campaigns

  • Review campaign steps and launch 1:1 outreach sequences

Whether you're working from LinkedIn, Gmail, Hubspot, or Salesforce, you’ll have access to these actions in a smooth side panel. It’s all about saving time and keeping your process seamless.

Some features like company panels and CRM lookups are coming soon, but what’s already there covers most common sales workflows.

How to install and connect

  1. Install the extension from the Chrome Web Store.

  2. Make sure you're logged into your lemlist and LinkedIn accounts.

  3. After installation, lemlist and LinkedIn will sync automatically — you’ll see a confirmation pop-up.

  4. Click “Skip” if you're not ready to take action yet, and go straight to LinkedIn to start exploring.

☝️ No need to use the same email address for both tools — the extension will still work.

CRM activation (Hubspot or Salesforce)

To get the CRM features inside your platform:

  • Go to Settings → Team → Integrations in your lemlist dashboard

  • Connect your CRM (either Hubspot or Salesforce)

  • Once connected, you’ll see the lemlist panel when you open a contact or lead in your CRM

You’ll also be able to bulk add leads, enrich them, and push them into campaigns or contact lists — all from your CRM interface.

Use cases inside each platform

On LinkedIn, you can open a profile and instantly:

  • Enrich contact data

  • Add the lead to a campaign or contact list

  • Use AI to personalize messages

  • Launch 1:1 sequences via the “Review & Launch” button

Bulk selection is available from search results or Sales Navigator lead lists.

In Gmail, the extension helps you:

  • Track emails sent outside of lemlist

  • Use AI-powered templates in your Gmail composer

  • Insert saved templates with one click

You’ll find the Templates button under the subject line, with filters like favorites, team templates, or personal ones.

Inside Hubspot and Salesforce, the lemlist panel is accessible:

  • On list views — hover over the contact name and click the lemlist icon

  • On record views — open the lead and find the lemlist icon on the right

From there, you can:

  • Enrich email, phone, or LinkedIn

  • Add to campaigns or contact lists

  • Push to lemlist without leaving your CRM

Bulk selection is done using your CRM’s checkboxes, followed by the “Add to lemlist” button.

Calling leads with the dialer

You can also call leads directly from the extension.

If the lead doesn’t have a phone number, use the “Find phone” option.

Once found, click the dialer icon and call them right from the platform you’re working in.

This is especially useful when working from LinkedIn, Hubspot, or Salesforce and you want to act fast.

Avoiding duplicate leads

You don’t want to accidentally add the same lead twice. Luckily, the Chrome extension has settings for that.

You can choose to:

  • Exclude leads already in a specific campaign

  • Exclude leads already added by anyone in your team

Just head to the Chrome extension settings and set your preferred behavior.
