Claap x Lemlist integration: Import Lemlist calls into Claap

The Claap x Lemlist integration lets you automatically import recorded Lemlist calls into Claap. Claap then transcribes the call, generates meeting notes and insights, and (if enabled) syncs the notes to your CRM.

Turn on the Lemlist integration

To import calls from Lemlist, first connect your Lemlist account to your Claap workspace:

In Apps & Integrations, find and select the Lemlist tile

Click Connect on the Lemlist integration page

When prompted, paste your Lemlist API key into the API key field

Get your Lemlist API key

To generate an API key in Lemlist:

In Lemlist, go to Settings > Integrations, open the API & Webhooks tab, then click Generate key

Optionally name the key (for example, “Claap integration”), then click Create Key

Copy and save the API key, then click Done

Back in Claap, click Connect to finish connecting your Lemlist account

Once connected, you’ll see a confirmation message

After setup, the Lemlist integration will appear as connected in your Claap workspace settings

Set a minimum duration for Lemlist imports

Under Preferences in the Lemlist integration settings, you can control which calls get imported based on duration. Calls shorter than your selected threshold won’t be imported.

Select the minimum duration you want (options include No minimum, 15 seconds, 30 seconds, 1 minute, 2 minutes, and 5 minutes)

Pro tip: Set the minimum duration to 1 minute. This helps prevent short/no-answer attempts (that may still get recorded) from being imported into Claap when you don’t want them.


How the import works

  • After the integration is connected, recorded Lemlist calls are imported into Claap automatically.

  • Imports typically appear within a few minutes after the call ends (as long as the call meets your minimum duration setting).

  • Once processed in Claap, you’ll get the transcript, automatic summary, and insights, like any other meeting recording.


Synchronize Lemlist conversations with your CRM

CRM sync can be triggered automatically if:

  • You have a CRM connected to Claap, and

  • Lemlist provides contact info that can be matched to a CRM contact (for example, a matching phone number).

If a match is found, Claap associates the imported call with the corresponding CRM contact—so your recordings and notes can be synced to the right records (contacts/deals), depending on your CRM setup.


Find your Lemlist recordings in Claap (Library)

You can filter your Library to show only Lemlist recordings:

In Claap, go to Recordings, then click the filter (funnel) icon

In the filter panel, search for or select the Source filter

Then choose Lemlist as the Source value to display only imported Lemlist recordings.


Disconnect the Claap x Lemlist integration

To disconnect Lemlist from your Claap workspace:

  1. Open Workspace Settings.

  2. Click View all integrations.

  3. Select Lemlist.

  4. Click Disconnect


Troubleshooting

Why aren’t my Lemlist calls being imported into Claap?

  • Confirm calls are recorded in Lemlist: Only recorded calls can be imported.

  • Check the minimum duration setting: Calls shorter than your configured threshold won’t be imported.

  • Verify the API key: Make sure you generated the key in Lemlist and pasted the correct key into Claap.
