Step 1: Gather Your Credentials

Before diving into the setup, ensure you have the following details:

๐Ÿ”‘ Login and Password

  • Login: Your Zoho username or full Zoho Mail address.

  • Password: Your Zoho account password.

Pro Tip: If you have Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) enabled, you'll need to generate an Application-Specific Password instead of using your regular password. Learn how to create an Application-Specific Password.


Step 2: Enable IMAP and SMTP on Zoho Mail

To ensure smooth email integration, you'll need to enable IMAP and SMTP settings. Here's how:

โš™๏ธ Enable IMAP Access

  1. Log in to your Zoho Mail account.

  2. Navigate to Settings (โš™๏ธ).

  3. Go to Mail Accounts > Configure IMAP.

  4. Under the IMAP section, check the box for IMAP Access.

๐Ÿ”ง Auto-Expunge and Folder View

While configuring, adjust your Auto-Expunge and Folder View settings for optimal email syncing.


Step 3: Configure SMTP and IMAP Settings

Now, letโ€™s set up the outgoing and incoming mail servers:

SMTP Settings (Outgoing Emails)

  • Server: smtp.zoho.com

  • Port: 465

  • SSL: Enabled

IMAP Settings (Incoming Emails)

  • Server: imappro.zoho.com (or imap.zoho.com for personal accounts like [email protected])

  • Port: 993

  • SSL: Enabled
