Need to change the email address your campaigns are sent from?

TL;DR

To change your login email, you must email [email protected] from the email address that is currently used to log in, and include the new login email in the body of your message. Sending email changes can be done yourself by unlinking the old email in Sending settings and connecting a new one, but this pauses active campaigns. Takes 5-10 minutes for sending email, 1-2 business days for login email.

Why This Matters

lemlist uses two types of emails: login email (for account access and invoices) and sending email (for campaign delivery). Understanding the difference prevents confusion when making changes.

Login email changes require support intervention for security. Sending email changes you can handle yourself, but they pause active campaigns and disable tracking until you reassign senders.

How to Change Your Login Email

  1. Send an email to [email protected] from the email address you currently use as your lemlist login (the one you want to change).

  2. In the body of the email, clearly write the new login email address you want to use.

  3. Wait for support to review your request and complete the change (support may ask for additional verification if needed).

Important: The new login email cannot already be associated with another lemlist account.

How to Change Your Sending Email

Warning: Changing your sending email pauses all active campaigns linked to the old address and disables tracking.

  1. Complete or pause all active campaigns first

  2. From your lemlist workspace, click your profile (bottom-left), then select Settings

  3. In the left sidebar, go to Sending settings, then expand the Email section

  4. Next to your current sending email, click the trash icon to unlink/remove it

  5. Click Connect email address

  6. Review the information in the modal, then click Accept and continue

  7. Select your email provider (Google/Gmail, Microsoft/Outlook, or Other email provider (SMTP/IMAP)), then click Connect

  8. Reassign the new sender to your campaigns
