Heeeey lemlister! ๐Ÿ‘‹

We optimize your workflow by enriching your prospects directly from the app, so you save a huge amount of time when preparing your campaigns!

To get as much information as possible, you can combine both our LinkedIn scan with our Dropcontact integration.

Let me explain it to you ๐Ÿ˜Š

Activate the scans

There are 2 ways to activate your scanners:

โžก From inside our app during the import - in the "Leads" section of your campaign;

The scanners can be selected once you start importing leads:

โžก From inside our app after import - in the "Leads" section of your campaign;

After importing you are also able to mark/check leads that you would like to enrich - pretty cool? ๐Ÿ˜Ž

To activate the scanner/s after importing:

Check lead - click on ... and choose enrichment ๐Ÿ‘‡

โžก From Chrome extension:

As usual, you need to go to LinkedIn and choose the lead/s that you want to import.
Then you need to click on your extension and hit the button "Import settings" ๐Ÿ‘‡

In "Import settings" you will be able to check LinkedIn and/or Dropcontact scanners โœ…

The LinkedIn scan

Thanks to our LinkedIn scan you can get all sorts of information about your prospects depending on their profiles, such as:

  • Firstname

  • Lastname

  • Location

  • Occupation

  • Photo

  • LinkedIn profile URL

๐Ÿ’ก lemlister tip

The Linkedin URL is only pulled while using our chrome extension. If you import a CSV file, the LinkedIn URL must be filled in the CSV otherwise, we cannot contact the lead on LinkedIn.

  • Company name

  • Company industry

  • Company size

  • Company profile URL

  • Company domain

Use lemlist LinkedIn Chrome extension

To get this information in just a few clicks, you'll need to use the lemlist LinkedIn extension.

  • Do your LinkedIn search using the filters of your choice

  • Click on the lemlist LinkedIn extension to add the contacts to your campaign

If you activated the LinkedIn scan in the app or in the Chrome extension leads enrichment will start automatically.

But, also in the "Import history" section, you will be able to see if your scanners are activated for a specific batch of import ๐Ÿ˜Ž

Important highlights

โ˜๏ธ Even though we are visiting your lead's profile to scrap the information, your leads won't be able to see that you visited their profile.

However, each visit is taken into account by LinkedIn and will be subject to LinkedIn limits. So, please check the limit in your Settings Section and adapt your campaign accordingly (max 100 LinkedIn total actions per day).

โ˜๏ธ Be aware of the scan daily limit: by default only 30 per day.

So if you have hundreds of profiles to enrich it can take several days.

When your daily LinkedIn scan limit is reached you can see an orange LinkedIn icon, as below. That means the scan will start again the day after.

The Dropcontact integration

The integration allows you to get data about your leads, including email addresses, directly from the lemlist app.

This means you can enrich your prospects' list and launch your campaign without leaving the app!

Dropcontact scanner

Please note that lemlist has native integration with lemlist which means you can enrich your leads directly on our app! ๐Ÿ”„

For you to do so, you need to have a Dropcontact account and credits for enrichment purchased on the Dropcontact platform.

When you are ready you can activate it from the app:

1๏ธโƒฃ Go to your Team settings section

2๏ธโƒฃ Choose the "Scanners" section
3๏ธโƒฃ Enter your API key (find it in your Dropcontact account)

4/ Select the language in which you want your data to be scraped. e.g. Mister (EN) vs. Monsieur (FR)

For your LinkedIn imports to be automatically chained with Dropcontact, you need to meet the following conditions:

  • You have activated the Dropcontact scan and Linkedin Scan in the campaign options before importing your leads.

  • You have your leads' company domain

  • Have Dropcontact credits before importing leads (refresh them!)

  • Your campaign is running (not on pause).

When Dropcontact is enriching your lead, you see the little green icon going round.

If you don't want to use the LinkedIn extension to import your leads, no worries you can also use the Dropcontact scan on leads imported via a CSV file.

โœ… Information Dropcontact can get depending on the lead:

  • First name

  • Last name

  • Email address

  • Phone numbers

  • Company name

  • Company website

  • Company LinkedIn URL

  • Number of employees

  • Company info

  • Company size

  • Company turnover

  • Company results

  • Company VAT

If there is an error with a lead enrichment, the scan automatically pauses to protect you from wasting your Dropcontact credits with more errors.

How would I know?

You'll see the little Dropcontact icon turn red. Plus, if an error occurred the team owner is notified in the app so he can manually restart the scan.

Important highlights

โ˜๏ธFor Dropcontact scan to work, you need a valid API key and Dropcontact credits. If you're running out of credits, the scan won't work until you get new ones.

โ˜๏ธ There shouldn't be another batch in progress within the team. Leads enrichment batches are done one by one on a team level.

โ˜๏ธDropcontact scanner doesn't work on leads imported from your CRM as lemlist wouldn't update your leads in your CRM after they've been enriched.

โ˜๏ธ Fields that are retrieved overwrite existing ones. So for instance firstName and lastName can be modified after the scan, changing the case. Except for email, which will stay the same (unless it's a @fake-linkedin.com).

โ˜๏ธ If you just added new credits to your Dropcontact account, hit the refresh button in lemlist so everything is sync and ready to use.

Tooltips:

We have integrated tooltips in the app to indicate when there is no more credits. It shows which lead could not be scanned and appears at the top of the campaign.

Enjoy โค๏ธ
