TL;DR
Control which email notifications you receive from lemlist by going to Settings, then Notifications. Turn specific alerts on or off to stay informed about campaign issues, disconnections, bounce rates, and completions without inbox overload. Takes 2 minutes to configure.
Who Should Use This
Anyone running campaigns who wants to be alerted about critical issues
Users who don't log in to lemlist daily but need to know when campaigns finish or encounter problems
Admins managing multiple team members or client campaigns
Anyone experiencing notification overload who wants to reduce email volume
Why This Matters
Email notifications let you respond quickly to issues that could hurt your sender reputation or stop campaigns. If an email account disconnects at 9 PM on a Friday, you'll know immediately instead of discovering it Monday morning after hundreds of emails failed to send.
You also avoid notification overload. By choosing which alerts matter to you, you keep your inbox manageable while still catching critical problems. Admins benefit especially from visibility into client campaigns without needing to log in to each account.
How to Manage Email Notifications
Click your profile/name in the bottom-left corner, then select Settings.
In the left menu, click Notifications, then review the available notification toggles.
Review the available notification types:
Custom tracking domain issues – Alerts when your tracking domain configuration fails
High bounce rate alerts – Notifies you when bounce rates exceed safe thresholds
Disconnection alerts – Warns when an email account disconnects from lemlist
Campaign completion notifications – Confirms when a campaign finishes sending to all leads
Client campaign notifications (Admin only) – Alerts about issues in campaigns managed by your team members
Toggle each notification on or off based on your preferences.
Changes save automatically.
Your notification preferences apply to all campaigns in your account. You can't set different notification settings for individual campaigns.
How You'll Know It Worked
✓ Toggles in the Notifications section show your current preferences.
✓ When an enabled event occurs (such as a disconnection), you receive an email to your account email address.
✓ When you turn a notification off, you stop receiving emails for that event type.
✓ If you're an Admin with client notifications on, you receive alerts about issues in your team members' campaigns.
Troubleshooting
Issue: I'm not receiving email notifications even though they're enabled.
Root cause: Notifications are sent to your lemlist account email, and they may be in spam or filtered incorrectly.
Fix: Check your spam or junk folder for emails from lemlist. Add lemlist to your safe sender's list. Verify your account email is correct in Settings. If the issue persists, contact lemlist support.
Issue: I'm receiving too many notifications.
Root cause: Multiple notification types are enabled, or you're managing many campaigns or clients.
Fix: Go to Settings → Notifications and turn off notification types you don't need. For example, if campaign completion isn't critical for you, disable that alert. Prioritize notifications that require immediate action, like disconnections or high bounce rates.
Issue: I don't see the Client campaign notifications option.
Root cause: This option is only available for Admins managing teams.
Fix: If you're not an Admin, you won't see this option. Only users with Admin permissions on teams with multiple members will have access to client campaign notifications. Check your role in Cockpit → Manage Teams.
