The lemlist Chrome extension works in Pipedrive the same way as in HubSpot and Salesforce. In Pipedrive lists and on person and organization pages, you can see who is already in lemlist, open their lemlist contact or company panel, push persons to a list or a campaign, and run your lemlist tasks.
Limitations
The extension on Pipedrive is in beta and is rolling out progressively. It is available only to teams where the beta is enabled.
Organizations open the company panel, which is a separate beta. If the company panel beta isn't enabled for your team, you can't open an organization in the extension.
The extension requires the Work from CRM option, as on HubSpot and Salesforce. Without it, the panel shows the upsell.
The extension doesn't work in the Pipedrive Leads inbox.
The extension doesn't work on Pipedrive deals.
You cannot create a Pipedrive record from focus mode.
Prerequisites
The lemlist Chrome extension version 5.0.20 or later is installed. See How to install the lemlist Chrome extension.
Your team has the Work from CRM option.
Pipedrive is connected to lemlist at the team level.
You are logged in to the Pipedrive account that is connected to lemlist.
Phase 1: Check who is already in lemlist from a Pipedrive list
In Pipedrive, open a persons, organizations or activities list.
Hover a row. A lemlist chip appears next to the person or the organization.
Click the chip to open the contact panel (person) or the company panel (organization) in the extension.
✅ Verify: a chip with a checkmark means the record is already in lemlist.
Phase 2: Push persons in bulk from the persons list
In the Pipedrive persons list, select rows with Pipedrive's own checkboxes.
A box shows how many contacts you selected, for example 3 contacts selected. Click Add to lemlist.
In the CRM import panel, click Push 3 to campaign (the number matches your selection) to push the selection to a campaign, or push it to a list.
✅ Verify: the selected persons are in the list or the campaign you chose.
Phase 3: Work from a person or organization page
Open a person or an organization in Pipedrive.
The lemlist panel opens on the record by itself.
Move to the next record. The panel follows you from one record to the next.
✅ Verify: the panel shows the lemlist profile of the record open in Pipedrive.
Phase 4: Run your tasks in focus mode from Pipedrive
Open the lemlist sidebar in Pipedrive.
Start your tasks.
Work through the tasks. Each task brings the Pipedrive tab to the person of the task, or to the organization when the task has no contact.
✅ Verify: the Pipedrive tab shows the person or organization of the current task.
Phase 5: Turn off the extension on Pipedrive
Open Extension visibility.
Turn off the Pipedrive toggle.
✅ Verify: the lemlist extension no longer appears on Pipedrive.
Practical example
You want to start outreach on persons from a Pipedrive list without adding people who are already in lemlist.
Open the persons list in Pipedrive and hover the rows. A chip with a checkmark shows who is already in lemlist.
Select the other persons with Pipedrive's checkboxes.
Click Add to lemlist, then push them to a campaign from the CRM import panel.
Later, open the lemlist sidebar and start your tasks to run the day's tasks without leaving Pipedrive.
Troubleshooting & pitfalls
Issue: The extension shows the Connect your CRM screen
Root cause: Pipedrive isn't connected to lemlist at the team level, or you are logged in to a Pipedrive account other than the one connected to lemlist.
Fix:
Check that Pipedrive is connected to lemlist for your team. See Import leads from Pipedrive to lemlist.
Log in to the Pipedrive account that is connected to lemlist.
Reload the Pipedrive page.
Issue: The panel shows an upsell
Root cause: Your team doesn't have the Work from CRM option.
Fix: The extension on Pipedrive needs the Work from CRM option, the same as on HubSpot and Salesforce.
Issue: The extension doesn't appear on Pipedrive
Root cause: The extension is older than version 5.0.20, the beta isn't enabled for your team yet, or the Pipedrive toggle is off in Extension visibility.
Fix:
Update the lemlist Chrome extension to version 5.0.20 or later.
Check that the Pipedrive toggle is on in Extension visibility.
Reload the Pipedrive page. If the extension still doesn't appear, the beta isn't enabled for your team yet.
Issue: An organization doesn't open in the extension
Root cause: Organizations open the company panel, and the company panel beta isn't enabled for your team.
Fix: Persons still work. Organizations need the company panel beta as well as the Pipedrive beta.
