Hey lemlister! 👋

This guide will walk you through how to analyze your campaign stats like a pro. With these insights, you can refine your strategy, identify what’s working, and tackle areas that need improvement. Let's break it down step by step. 🚀

How to Access Your Campaign Stats

There are two simple ways to access your campaign statistics:

  1. From the Campaigns Dashboard:

    • Navigate to the "Campaigns" tab.

    • Click the "Reports" icon next to the campaign you want to review.

This will direct you to the specific campaign’s report, giving you a clear overview of its performance.

  2. Within a Specific Campaign:

    • Open the campaign you’re interested in.

    • Click on the "Reports" section or directly on the stats displayed at the top.

This allows you to focus on the details of that particular campaign.

💡 Pro Tip: Switch between positive and negative stats by clicking the thumbs-up or thumbs-down icons to see both the highlights and areas needing improvement.

Your Campaign’s Performance

Campaign performance is summarized using the following metrics:

  • Progression Bar:

    • Provides a quick overview of your campaign’s flow, showing where leads are in the process.

    • This focuses on the last recorded activity for each lead, so each lead only appears once.

  • Stats per Channel:

    • For multichannel campaigns, you’ll see detailed stats for:

      • Email steps: Opens, clicks, replies, and interests.

      • LinkedIn actions: Invites and messages (e.g., light purple for invites, orange for messages).

      • Call steps: Tracks completed calls.

      • Manual tasks and API calls: Measures completion rates.

    • Hover over any stat for its calculation formula.

  • Stats per Step:

    • Displays detailed breakdowns for each sequence step.

    • Use this view to evaluate A/B test results, comparing the performance of different sequences (e.g., Sequence A vs. Sequence B).

For instance, clicking "Sent" will open a detailed window showing which leads received Step 1, when it was sent.

Monitoring Campaign Status

The campaign status helps you ensure everything is running smoothly. Key indicators include:

  • Paused Campaigns: If your campaign is paused, check the settings and schedule.

  • Schedules Needing Updates: Ensure your sending schedule aligns with your strategy.

  • Adding New Leads: Keep your campaign active by importing fresh leads.

Campaign Actions: Plan, Share, and Export Your Results

From the three dots in your campaign, you can:

  1. Plan Ahead:

  2. Share Your Campaign:

    • Collaborate with your team by sharing the campaign’s details.

  3. Export Campaign Results:

    • Download your campaign's performance data for further analysis or reporting.

Diving Deeper: Negative Stats

To ensure you're fully aware of all campaign outcomes, including potential issues, you can review:

  • Bounces and unsubscribes.

  • Skipped steps in multichannel sequences.

💡 Tip: Hover over any negative stat to see how it’s calculated. This is especially useful for understanding skipped steps in sequences—these are grouped under a single metric for easier tracking.

⚠️ Warning: LinkedIn skips won’t appear under the LinkedIn channel stats but will still affect your overall metrics.

Understanding Deduplicated Stats

When analyzing your campaign stats, it’s important to understand how they are calculated. In the Overview, each lead is counted only once, regardless of the number of steps they go through in your campaign. Here’s a breakdown of how this works:

Example 1: One Lead Through Multiple Steps

  • Your campaign has 3 email steps.

  • A single lead receives all 3 emails over X days.

  • In the Overview, the lead is counted as 1 lead contacted for the entire period.

  • In the graph under Sent stats, you’ll see 1 lead contacted. This view reflects how many leads were contacted, not the number of emails sent.

Example 2: Multiple Leads with Different Steps

  • Your campaign has 3 email steps and 2 leads.

  • Lead A receives all 3 emails.

  • Lead B receives only the 1st email.

  • In the Overview, you’ll see 2 leads contacted under Sent stats, representing the total number of leads contacted, regardless of how many steps each received.

💡 This method ensures your stats are easy to interpret, focusing on leads contacted rather than the total volume of emails sent.
