Upsell Logic

If a user upgrades to a higher Email tier:

  • Immediate Effect: The upgrade takes effect immediately, so the user can instantly access the new, higher email sending limit.

  • Pro-rata Billing: The user is charged the full amount of the new tier, minus the pro-rata value of the unused days from the previous tier.

  • Billing Cycle Change: The billing anniversary date shifts to the day the upsell is processed.

  • Limit Reset: Even if the user has already used part of their previous email sending limit, the counter resets to 0 / new limit.

Downsell Logic

If a user downgrades to a lower Email tier:

  • Delayed Effect: The downgrade takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

  • No Pro-rata: No pro-rata calculation or partial refund is applied. The user keeps access to their current tier until the end of the billing cycle.

Restrictions and Special Cases

  • Multichannel / Email Cross-grades: Direct upgrades or downgrades between Multichannel and Email plans are not available — the button will be greyed out. There are two options: Option 1 – New team (recommended): We create a new team on the plan you want and migrate your email campaigns. You'd need to manually move over contacts, companies, and unsubscribed lists. Option 2 – Stay on current team: Contact support to escalate to Finance. They'll apply a credit for unused time and adjust billing accordingly. If the credit doesn't cover the full amount, the difference is charged to your payment method. Whichever option you choose, the new plan starts a fresh 30-day billing cycle immediately — unused days don't carry over.

  • Legacy Plans: The same restriction applies to legacy plans such as Outreach Scale, Email Starter, and similar older offerings. The same two options apply: create a new team (recommended), or contact support to have Finance handle the switch with a billing credit.

How to Choose Your Plan

  1. Select your preferred billing frequency.

  2. Choose your preferred currency.

  3. Select the number of seats you need.

  4. Pick the plan that fits your needs: Email, Multichannel, or Enterprise.
