Learning Objective
By the end of this guide, you'll know how to add your lemcal booking link to your email signature in lemlist and how to insert it directly inside an email step in a campaign sequence so prospects can schedule meetings directly.
Why This Matters
Coordinating meeting times via back-and-forth emails wastes time and loses prospects. Without a booking link:
You manually propose time slots
Prospects respond with conflicts
Multiple emails required to find one meeting time
Deals slow down or fall through
Adding your lemcal booking link to lemlist:
✅ Lets prospects book instantly – One click, no back-and-forth
✅ Shortens response cycles – Meetings scheduled immediately
✅ Increases meetings booked – Removes friction from scheduling
✅ Syncs with your calendar – Automatically blocks booked times
lemcal is a custom booking page tool that integrates with lemlist. It takes about one minute to set up and handles all scheduling automatically.
Prerequisites
Before adding your lemcal link:
You have a lemlist account with seat access
You have a lemcal account (or you'll create one during setup)
You send emails from lemlist campaigns
3 minutes to complete setup
Key Concept: Where to Add Your lemcal Link
You can add your lemcal booking link in two places:
1. Email Signature (recommended)
Best for: Automatically including your booking link in every email you send from lemlist
The link appears at the bottom of messages sent from lemlist (campaigns using your signature)
Prospects can book a meeting after reading your outreach
2. Inside an Email Step in a Campaign Sequence
Best for: Adding the booking link only in specific steps (for example, in a follow-up or “ready to talk?” email)
Insert the link directly into the email body where your call-to-action is
More control over exactly which sequence steps include the link
💡 Tip: If you’re doing cold outreach, consider adding the booking link later in the sequence (instead of the first email) to avoid coming across as too pushy.
Option 1: Add lemcal Link to Email Signature
Go to Sending Settings
Click your profile image (bottom-left corner), then select Settings
In the left sidebar, click Sending settings, then expand the Email section
Add Booking Link to Signature
In the Email signature editor, click the lemcal booking link button
If prompted, choose the meeting type you want to insert (for example, 30 minutes)
💡 If you don't have a lemcal account yet: You'll be prompted to create one when you click the booking link button. Follow the setup wizard to create your booking page.
Customize the Link Text (Optional)
Once the link is inserted, update the visible link text to match your call-to-action (for example: "Schedule a call with me")
Click Save to update your signature
Save Your Signature
Click Save at the bottom of the Email Signature section.
Your booking link now appears in all emails sent from lemlist campaigns using this signature.
Option 2: Add lemcal Link in Email in Sequence
You can also insert your lemcal booking link directly into an email step inside a campaign sequence. This is useful when you only want the link to appear in specific steps (for example, a follow-up email).
Open Your Campaign Sequence
Open the Campaigns area in lemlist, then select the campaign you want to edit
Open the Sequence and click the email step you want to update
Insert the Booking Link
In the email editor toolbar, click the lemcal booking link button (if you don’t see it, click the More menu first)
If prompted, choose the meeting type you want to insert
Place the link near your call-to-action (for example: “If it makes sense, you can book a slot here:”)
Save Your Changes
Save the email step
If the campaign is already running, double-check whether your changes apply to contacts already enrolled (depending on your campaign settings and lemlist behavior)
The prospect will receive that sequence email with the clickable booking link.
How You'll Know It Worked
✓ Booking link appears in Settings → Sending settings → Email signature
✓ lemcal link appears inside the specific campaign email step where you inserted it
✓ Test email to yourself includes the clickable link
✓ Clicking the link opens your lemcal booking page
To test:
Send a test email to yourself from lemlist (or enroll a test contact)
Open the email
Click the booking link
Verify your lemcal booking page opens
Who Should Use This
SDRs and AEs who want prospects to book meetings instantly after outreach
Founders or solo sellers trying to land first meetings faster without manual coordination
Teams running sequences who want to add scheduling links only in specific follow-up steps
Not useful for:
Teams who don't send emails from lemlist
Users who never run campaign sequences
Reps who prefer phone calls over scheduled meetings
Troubleshooting
Issue: Booking link doesn't appear in sent emails
Root cause: Signature not saved, campaign not using the updated signature, or the link wasn’t added to the correct sequence step.
Fix:
Go to Settings → Sending settings → Email signature
Re-insert the booking link
Click Save
Check the specific campaign sequence email step and confirm the link is present (if you’re using Option 2)
Send a test email to yourself
Verify the campaign is using the correct email signature template
Issue: I don't have a lemcal account yet
Root cause: The booking link requires a lemcal account to function.
Fix:
When you click the booking link button, you'll be prompted to create an account
Follow the setup wizard to create your booking page in about 1 minute
Or visit lemcal.com to set up separately first
Return to lemlist and insert the booking link after setup
Issue: I selected a different sender for my campaign. Will it use their lemcal link?
Root cause: Available meeting types depend on the selected sender's lemcal configuration.
Fix:
If the sender doesn't have lemcal yet, recipients will be invited to create and configure a lemcal account
To use a specific sender's booking link, ensure that sender has a lemcal account set up
Switch the campaign sender to someone with lemcal configured
Or have that sender create their lemcal account first
Issue: Can't find the Booking Link button in Email Signature
Root cause: Wrong settings area, or browser issue.
Fix:
Go to Settings → Sending settings → Email signature and scroll down
Refresh the page or try a different browser
Issue: Link opens to the wrong lemcal page
Root cause: Multiple lemcal accounts connected, or wrong account selected during setup.
Fix:
Go to lemcal.com and verify which account you're logged into
Disconnect and reconnect lemcal in lemlist Settings → Integrations
Re-insert the booking link to use the correct account
Optimization Tips
Customize link text for context: Instead of generic "Book a meeting," use specific text like "Schedule a 15-min intro call" or "Book your demo."
Test the booking flow: After adding the link, book a test meeting yourself to ensure the flow works smoothly for prospects.
Add the link below your CTA: Place the booking link right after your call-to-action in the email (or signature), so it’s easy to see.
Use lemcal later in the sequence: For cold outreach, consider adding the booking link in a follow-up step once there’s some interest.
Set up multiple meeting types: In lemcal, create different meeting types (15-min intro, 30-min demo) so prospects can choose the right option.
Track meeting bookings: Check lemlist activity logs to see when prospects book meetings via your lemcal link.
Coordinate with team: If multiple senders use lemlist, ensure each has their own lemcal account set up so booking links route to the right person.
Keep your calendar updated: lemcal syncs with your calendar, so make sure your availability is accurate to avoid double-bookings.
