Learning Objective
By the end of this guide, you'll know how to access the Outreach Queue, view all scheduled steps across campaigns grouped by day, filter by sender accounts, and refresh the view so you can plan daily sending volume and avoid overshooting sending limits.
Why This Matters
Managing multiple campaigns across different sender accounts is complex. Without visibility into what's scheduled, you risk:
Overshooting sending limits and triggering spam filters
Uneven sending distribution (sending too much on some days, too little on others)
Lack of control over what goes out and when
The Outreach Queue solves this by giving you a real-time preview of your outbound flow across all campaigns in one place.
Prerequisites
Before using the Outreach Queue:
You have active campaigns with scheduled steps
Campaigns are not paused – Only active campaigns appear in the queue
You're on the lemlist dashboard with access to the Outreach Queue
What Is the Outreach Queue?
The Outreach Queue is a campaign planning tool that displays all your scheduled steps in a scrollable table grouped by day.
It replaces the old "prediction planning" view with more clarity and functionality.
What you can do:
✅ See all scheduled outreach activities across campaigns
✅ Group steps by day and expand/collapse each section
✅ Filter by one or multiple senders
✅ Refresh the list anytime to get latest predictions
✅ Click on contacts, companies, or campaign names to explore more
Each step shows:
Scheduled time
Type of outreach (email, LinkedIn, call, etc.)
Recipient (lead name)
Sender account
Associated campaign
How to Access the Outreach Queue
Step 1: Go to your lemlist dashboard
Log in to lemlist and navigate to the main dashboard.
Step 2: Open the Outreach Queue
From the top navigation, click Outreach queue (Beta) to open it.
How to Use the Outreach Queue
View scheduled steps
The Outreach Queue displays all upcoming steps in a table, grouped by day (for example, "Yesterday", "Today", "Tomorrow").
Expand or collapse days
Use the arrow next to a day (for example, Today) to expand or collapse that day’s scheduled steps. Tip: you can hold Shift while clicking to collapse/uncollapse all.
Filter by sender
Use the sender filter at the top right to view steps for:
One sender (only that account’s scheduled steps)
Multiple senders (select multiple accounts)
Click the sender filter (showing the current selected sender), then select or unselect sender accounts in the dropdown (you can also search).
Refresh the queue
Click the Refresh icon to reload the latest predictions. Since campaigns can change in real-time (leads added, campaigns paused/resumed, schedule changes), refreshing helps ensure you’re viewing the current schedule.
Click on items for more details
Click on:
Contact name – Opens the lead panel with full contact info
Company name – Shows company details
Campaign name – Opens the campaign in a new tab
This lets you quickly investigate or adjust specific steps without leaving the queue.
How the Outreach Queue Helps with Campaign Planning
The Outreach Queue gives you a real-time preview of your outbound flow.
It factors in:
Campaign schedules
Sending limits per account
Active/paused campaign status
This helps you:
✅ Plan daily sending volume – See what goes out each day to avoid spikes
✅ Manage multiple senders – Balance workload across team members
✅ Avoid overshooting limits – Stay within daily sending caps to protect sender reputation
✅ Get visibility before sending – Review what's scheduled before it happens
Use cases:
Scenario 1:
Avoid sending limit violations
You have 3 campaigns scheduled. The Outreach Queue shows a high volume for Monday, exceeding your daily limit. You pause one campaign or adjust schedules to stay within limits.
Scenario 2:
Balance team workload
Filter by sender and see that one teammate has significantly more scheduled steps than others. You reassign leads or redistribute senders to balance workload.
Scenario 3:
Preview upcoming week
Expand each day to see your outreach volume for the week. Adjust schedules to ensure consistent daily sending rather than bursts.
Things to Keep in Mind
⚠️ This is version 1 (v1) – Some features are on the roadmap:
Current limitations:
1. View up to 1,000 future steps
The queue shows a maximum of 1,000 upcoming steps. If you have more, only the nearest 1,000 appear.
2. Can't preview step content
You can see which step is scheduled but not the actual email or LinkedIn message content, yet.
3. Conditional steps don't show until triggered
Steps created from conditions (e.g., "if lead clicks, send next step") won't appear until the condition is met.
4. Predictive view updates in real-time
The queue reflects current campaign settings. Changes to campaigns (paused, new leads added, schedule adjustments) update the queue immediately.
💡 Bottom line: The queue is predictive, not final. It shows what's planned based on current settings, not what will definitely send (since campaigns can change).
Troubleshooting
Issue: No steps appear in the Outreach Queue
Fix:
Verify campaigns are active (not paused)
Check that campaigns have leads scheduled to receive steps
Refresh the queue to load the latest data
Ensure campaigns have future steps (if all leads have completed sequences, the queue will be empty)
Issue: Steps are missing for a specific sender
Fix:
Clear sender filters to view all senders
Verify the sender account is active and connected in Settings → Sending Settings
Check that campaigns using that sender are active
Issue: Queue shows steps that already sent
Fix:
Refresh the queue, it may be showing outdated data
The queue is predictive; if a step was sent after the last refresh, it may still appear briefly until the next refresh
Issue: Can't seethe content of scheduled steps
Fix:
This feature is not yet available in v1
To view step content, go to the campaign → Sequence and review each step manually
Optimization Tips
Check the queue daily: Make it part of your morning routine to review what's sending today and adjust if needed.
Use sender filters to balance workload: If managing a team, filter by each sender to ensure workload is distributed evenly.
Refresh before making decisions: Always refresh the queue before making changes to campaigns to ensure you're working with the latest data.
Plan sending volume proactively: Look ahead to the next 3-5 days to spot days with high sending volume and adjust schedules to smooth out spikes.
Click through to investigate: If a step looks unusual (wrong time, unexpected campaign), click the campaign name to investigate and fix.
Combine with sending limits: Cross-reference the queue with your sending limits (Settings → Sending Settings) to ensure you stay within safe thresholds.
Export for external planning: Take screenshots or manually note high-volume days to plan team capacity or adjust other marketing activities.
Monitor conditional steps separately: Since conditional steps don't appear until triggered, review campaign reports to track conditional engagement (clicks, replies).
