⚑️ Import prospects from Pipedrive to your campaign using your filters

Let's go 😎

Firstly, make sure to connect your CRM to lemlist from your Settings section, Integrations tab.

Also don't forget to enable lemlist to "sync your campaign's name and lead status in your CRM" by clicking the toggle as below.

How to set up your CRM?

First, to allow lemlist to send information to Pipedrive, you need to add custom fields to your CRM.

It's really easy, I'll break it down for you 😊

Go to Pipedrive, click on your account in the top right corner, and select Company settings.

Then, select Data fields in the left sidebar. All the fields you see here already are the information you are currently collecting about your leads, so basically, now we just want to add the information you'll be getting from lemlist and LinkedIn, like professional email address, LinkedIn URL, Job title, what channel you were communicating on, which campaign they were apart of, etc.

To do that you'll need to click the green button + Custom field where you can choose the category you want to add custom fields to: Deals/Leads, Person, Organization.

For each new custom field, you'll just need to complete these two steps:

  • Write the "Field name"

  • Select the right "Field type"

⚠️ Careful, the "Field name" is case sensitive so make sure you don't add a letter or space by mistake.

Let's start with Deals!

  • Field name: lemlistChannel, Field type: text

Activities

Now, if you want to have custom icons in your activities, verify that you have the following ones in Company settings, Activity types:

  • email: default one for all activities

  • task: or manual tasks in lemlist

  • linkedin: to be able to see the difference between email and LinkedIn activities

If not, click the green button "+ Activity type" to add the lacking ones.

So once you add all those custom fields, Pipedrive will be able to get this info from lemlist!

How to set up your CRM in lemlist?

Now that you allowed lemlist to send information to Pipedrive, you need to set up your lemlist campaign to push the right information at the right time.

Import your leads

First, when you create a new campaign, select the way you want to import your leads from the Leads tab.

Click on the "CRM Import" option, then you will be able to select the desired CRM.

⚠️ Don't forget that you can also import your leads via:

  • our LinkedIn extension to export a list of contacts from a simple LinkedIn search

  • your CRM, directly in the Settings tab (see below)

Choose where your deal should be created in Pipedrive:

Here, you can ask lemlist to act based on the trigger.

1️⃣ Go to your campaign's settings by clicking on the βš™οΈ icon on the top of your dashboard.

2️⃣ Go to "CRM Integration"

3️⃣ Enable Sync data from lemlist to CRM

4️⃣ Choose at which stage of your Pipedrive pipeline your deal should be created:

5️⃣ Choose what should be the trigger for those deals to be created:

πŸ’‘ Note that we only create deals, we do not move deals to another stage.

We recommend you to select "Create persons and organizations in Pipedrive if they do not exists".

We also recommend you select "Create deals when a lead is marked as interested" in case you know a lead is interested but he didn't reply by email.

πŸ’‘ If you choose to create a deal when a new task is created in lemlist, make sure you tick the right box in your campaign's options.

Activities

By default, all activities of leads (email sent, opened, clicked, replied, same for Linkedin steps) are added to your lead's file inside your CRM in the form of notes.

If you switch that option, no activities will be added:

Note that you cannot choose to add some types of activities and not others, it's either all of them or none of them.

πŸ’‘One final note, if you also want to have the campaign's name and lead status synced in your activities, please make sure to enable the following feature in your general settings - integrations:

🚨 Pro Tip 🚨

Scanners are possible with full funnel if the import does not come from a CRM filter only. (meaning CSV, extension or API).

Duplicates

Choose how you want to manage the duplicated leads in your campaigns whatever channel you used to import them (API, Zapier, extension, manual, etc.)

Congrats, you've just optimized your workflow and increased your chances of success πŸ₯³

Enjoy ❀️
