Assign a campaign to send from a teammate's email or LinkedIn account. The teammate needs an active seat and connected account. Takes about 5 minutes.
Who Should Use This
Team admins managing campaigns for multiple sales reps
Agencies sending on behalf of clients or account managers
Sales leaders distributing campaign volume across team members
Why This Matters
Sending from the appropriate team member creates more authentic outreach and prevents any single account from hitting daily limits. Reply rates typically increase 15-20% when messages come from the right person rather than a generic company address.
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1: Verify the team member has an assigned seat
Click your name in the bottom-left corner, then select Plans & billing. On the billing page, confirm the teammate has an active seat (if needed, activate their seat). Only team members with an assigned active seat can send campaigns.
If you need to activate/deactivate a seat, use the seat toggle on the teammate’s row.
Step 2: Ensure their account is connected
The team member needs to connect their email or LinkedIn.
Option A: Team member connects it themselves (recommended)
They click their name in the bottom-left corner, then select Settings
Go to Sending settings, then expand Email
Click Connect email address and follow the prompts
Option B: You connect it for them
Go to Plans & billing and ensure the teammate’s seat is active (then have the teammate complete the email connection from their own Settings if required by your organization’s security/login policies).
Note: LinkedIn must be connected by the team member themselves due to authentication requirements
Step 3: Select the sender in your campaign
Go to Campaigns, then open the campaign you want to send from your teammate.
In the campaign, click Sequence.
Click an email step, then open the Sender for email steps dropdown and select the teammate as the sender. All email steps using that sender setting will send from their account.
Optional: Force a sender for specific steps
To have different team members send different steps:
Click on the specific step
Enable Force a sender
Select who should send that step
How You'll Know It Worked
✅ The sender dropdown shows your teammate's name
✅ Each sequence step displays the correct sender below it
✅ Test emails arrive from the teammate's address
Troubleshooting
Issue: Teammate doesn't appear in sender dropdown
Verify they have an active seat in Plans & billing
Check their email/LinkedIn is connected in their account settings
Refresh the page. Aew senders may take 1-2 minutes to appear
Issue: "Email not connected" error
Go to Settings → Sending settings and reconnect
Some providers require periodic re-authentication
Issue: LinkedIn steps won't send
The team member must connect to LinkedIn themselves (admins can't do it for them)
Have them go to Settings → Integrations → LinkedIn
Tips for Optimization
Match senders to lead segments (junior reps for SMB, executives for enterprise)
Use "Force a sender" strategically for authority escalation (CEO sends final offer)
For distributing across multiple senders simultaneously, use inbox rotation instead
