Heeeeey lemlister! 👋
I'm told you're ready to connect your Salesforce to your lemlist account. And, OF COURSE, I'll show you:
How to connect Salesforce with lemlist?
1️⃣ First, we need to integrate/connect to Salesforce.
➡️ Go to Settings
➡️ then to Integrations
➡️ And click on the "Connect " salesforce button.
It should look like the screenshot below:
➡️ A popup will open to enter your username and password (if not logged on Salesforce on different browser tab),
➡️ After Salesforce's authorization, you'll connect to it without an additional login prompt.
lemlister tip 💡
Working with Salesforce is easy. You'll just have to select your leads with the creation of LeadViews. Then just add filters to it to find the right leads' selection.
➡️ All list views that are created in Salesforce...
➡️ ... and will be shown in lemlist as filter names when creating a campaign with Salesforce way to add Leads.
➡️ Then, select filter (lead view) and click on next leads. They will be populated from Salesforce and will be the same set of leads with the same properties as these shown in your specific Salesforce's lead view.
2️⃣ All activities from the lead are stored immediately as events inside the corresponding lead in your Salesforce:
💡 NOTES:
Please bear in mind that the same filter for different Salesforce users can produce different sets of leads. As an example, if the first user creates a filter using "My leads" and shares it like that, other users will receive a completely different leads set, filtered by his/her "My leads" filter...
The essentials edition doesn't support API access, so it likely won't work.
Salesforce's users need to be careful with different types of sharing, for their lead views to be accessible by others or you won't be able to find them in lemlist.
When importing from a Report Salesforce view - to be able to import leads without issues in your campaign, you must have the following default Salesforce fields added in the view:
Lead ID or Contact ID
Email (not another custom one)
