Hello, lemlister!
Overview
Welcome! We're excited to help you get started with lemlist.
You'll need to manage two types of email addresses: a login email for access and invoices, and an email provider for sending campaigns. Connecting your email provider is quick and easy from the dashboard, and don't forget to set up your email signature. To maximize your email deliverability, ensure your DNS settings (DKIM, DMARC, SPF) are properly configured, and consider creating a custom tracking domain to monitor your campaigns.

Account settings
Please take note that on lemlist, you have two types of email addresses:
Login - Exclusively used for login purposes, and invoices will be sent to your login email address.
Email Provider - The email address associated with the email provider section is the one you will utilize for sending campaigns.
It's important to highlight that your login email can differ from the email provider linked for sending campaigns.
Then, link lemlist to your email provider in a matter of seconds from the lemlist dashboard page:
Signature
Setting up your signature and using the {{signature}} variable to incorporate it into your campaigns is highly recommended.
You can see step by step instructions here.
The signature section is under 'Settings.'
DNS
To maximize your email deliverability, it is essential to configure your DNS settings.
This setup must be completed through your email provider, but you can verify the configuration within lemlist. If your checks indicate that DKIM, DMARC, and SPF are all green, you are all set to proceed.
You can check your DNS health under 'Account health' then 'DNS health.'
The DNS records are essential.
While it may not sound particularly glamorous, rest assured that these elements are crucial for optimal performance.
Moreover, your custom tracking domain enables you to monitor the click rate of your campaigns.

Preparing to Launch Your Campaigns
Before sending out emails, it's crucial to ensure that your email account is properly warmed up. This warming period can take 3 to 5 weeks, depending on the condition of your email provider and the associated domain, as well as adherence to our recommended practices.
Once the warm-up period is complete, avoid sending emails at full capacity immediately. Instead, gradually increase your volume until you reach a recommended limit of 100 emails per day.
